Whole Life is a CKC registered Labrador Retriever kennel. We sit on 10 acres of wooded land with ponds and streams. It is the perfect space to raise, train and live the Labrador lifestyle. We are located 40 minutes away from Orangeville Ontario.

We are members of the Canadian Kennel Club.

Our Philosophy:

We keep only 2 to 3 bitches as they all need individual care and lots of love and attention. They all live in the house with us and generally run our life.

We breed on a limited basis, generally one, or occasionally, two litters a per bitch. The stud dogs are selected with great care. All breeding stock is registered with the Canadian Kennel Club. Eyes are cleared annually and hips and elbows are certified clear of dysplasia.

We pride ourselves on our natural rearing, feeding and holistic approach with our dogs. We have been feeding a raw diet since 1999. Ruthies pups are now fourth generation raw. We have certainly noticed a difference with our own dogs as well as the puppies. We no longer have digestive issues, their teeth are clean, their breath is fresh and their bodies do not smell. Their coats are shiny and full and there is less shedding. The eyes are bright, alert and you know their brains are functioning at full speed. Their body and muscle tone are better.  When feeding naturally the pups grow slowly and evenly as nature intended.

Our puppies are sold on a non-breeding contract that is registered with the CKC. We prefer that the puppies go to pet homes where they will be included in the day to day lives of their families.

We encourage our new adoptive parents to take their pup to at least one level of obedience training, field training or agility work.

Owning a dog is a responsibility we do not take lightly. It is essential that we all learn to properly care for our dogs, just as we do our children. As our kennel name indicates, we place our pups with owners that are commited to having the pup throughout it’s Whole Life.
